It's been a bumper season of PTA Christmas events, and we've loved seeing what PTAs have been up to to raise funds this Christmas. From fairs and wreath-making workshops, to pantos and gorgeous grottos, we've rounded up some of the best festive event ideas from Christmas 2018! [Originally published December 2018]
Friends of Aberdare Town Church Primary in Wales organised Tea with Santa. We love the outfits ladies! And those cakes look yummy...
Now we've seen some fantastic looking grottos this year, but this one is truly amazing! Well done to St. Andrew's PTA in Salford who commissioned this from a talented parent, who made it for them for free! Incredible work from a generous volunteer.
This primary school PTA in South West London held a festive bazaar, where the children could choose a lovely gift for their special someone.
Willows PTFA held wreath making sessions this year to raise money for their school in Newbury.
We bet the Selfie Zone was a big hit at the Beckford School Christmas Fair in West Hampstead!
This PTA in Maidenhead sold and delivered Christmas trees to raise funds this year. Good work!
Friends of Pocklington School held a glamorous Christmas Ball, complete with a 3 course dinner, DJ and disco. Sounds like our kind of event!
Now this caught our eye β a new twist on the classic Lolly Pick game. This stunning turkey is called Tinkerbell, and if you pluck the right feather she could win you a prize! Great papier-mache work from a talented PTA volunteer!
These creative chefs from Class 1AP at Ledbury Primary made some gorgeous marshmallow snowmen to sell at the Christmas Fayre.
How to thrill the kids at your PTA Christmas events - a very exciting visitor came to Hatton Hill Primary in Liverpool...
Now this is a brilliant idea β no need to fork out for brand new Christmas jumpers, when you can organise a sale or swap! Great for the pocket and also the environment, this one's a thumbs up from us. π
This primary school in Harrogate had a very popular reindeer food stall at their Christmas Fair - a great idea for PTA Christmas events.
Lawnside Academy organised a Hook a Bag stall, volunteer Karen told us, "we gave all the kids in school a bag to decorate and fill with goodies then return to school- brilliant return means almost 100% profit and no trouble for us!"
Friends of Burhill School had their very own "Elfridges" department store at their Christmas Fair, complete with gift wrapping elves!
This looks like a fun game at Great Berry Primary Academy β guess the weight of the turkey!
We hope you've enjoyed our round-up of PTA Christmas events from 2018, and maybe found some new ideas for next year too!
