Everyone loves a good summer fair. It’s the perfect opportunity to step away from our everyday lives and enter a magical and fun world full of games, rides, and of course, face painting! Here are some basics on face painting , and how to make the most of your designs.

The most common and most accessible type of face paint is acrylic paint. It can be applied using a brush or sponge for a quick and easy application. There are a number of colour combinations that are perfect for summer fairs - bright, vibrant colours like red and yellow, or pastel hues like pink and blue.

When planning your face painting designs for a summer fair, think about what's trending in the kids world currently, and of course you can never go wrong with classic designs. Here are a few popular face painting ideas for the summer fair that are sure to impress your guests.

Rainbow face painting designs
