If you’re looking for some inspiration for your Mother’s Day PTA event, look no further. In this post, we’ll explore some of our favourite Mother’s Day events, and give you some ideas on how to make them your own. So get ready to celebrate Mother’s Day in style with your fellow mums and PTA members. From pancake breakfasts to spa days, there’s something here for everyone. So get planning and let us know how it goes!
Pancake Breakfast
What could be more delicious than pancakes and bacon in the morning? This is a great opportunity to celebrate all mothers in the school community for all the hard work they do. And what better way to do it than by eating delicious food together? Families can enjoy a fun-filled morning of good food and company.
Mother’s Day Picnic
This is always a popular event, and it’s easy to see why. What could be more fun than spending a beautiful day outdoors with your friends and family in honour of all the wonderful Mothers?
Be sure to have plenty of activities for everyone, including a picnic lunch, games, and you can even boost your fundraising efforts with a raffle.
Spa Day
This year, why not try doing something different and special -- host a Mother’s Day Spa Day event at school!
Mums will love this event. They can come and relax with a day of pampering, surrounded by their friends and family. Set up different stations in the school hall and bring in the manicurist and masseuse so mums can enjoy a day of pampering, complete with a mani/pedi, massage, and more. You can include vendor stalls so there can be some shopping and lunch incorporated into the day.
Mother’s Day Gift Shop
The gift shop is a great idea to allow children to purchase gifts for their mums for Mother’s Day. You can sell everything from jewellery, confectionery, mugs and other cute items all at affordable prices! The children can pay perhaps £2.50 for an item which they select and you can even have a gift wrapping table to make some extra money.
It’s not too late to start planning your PTA Mother’s Day event. There are plenty of great ideas out there, and we hope the examples we’ve shared will give you a few good starting points.
We know that mums appreciate events that show they are loved and appreciated, so be sure to put some thought into what type of celebration will make mums happy.
